Questions:

1. Which of these actions would you like to see the Holy Spirit do more of in your life?

2. How are these disciples joyful when there seems to be conflict at every turn?

3. John 16:7 It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not

come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.

Do you think the disciples are seeing what Jesus was talking about now?

The grief has been changed to joy and new purpose.

Jesus said He would be with them always, to the end of the age.

4. Are there times that you long to be in Jesus’ presence and close to Him?

Does this passage give comfort?
